Traffic Calming Assessment recommends radar signs, safety education and possible 'Do not pass golf cart' signage

District Engineer Charlie Krebs reviewed the draft Traffic Calming Assessment 2025 and described Tier 1 and Tier 2 strategies. Krebs said three permanent and one mobile speed radar signs "will be delivered throughout the property the first week in February," and noted that Mr. Conway began initial education-based work on road, bike and golf-cart safety measures.
Board members discussed notifying residents of the existing mandate, possibly installing "Do not pass golf cart" signage at the front entrance and crosswalks, and Safety Saturday events to raise resident awareness. Mr. Eric Long asked Krebs to update Page 9 of the report to include the Traffic Study conclusion; board members were asked to advise Schultz or Krebs of other areas needing consideration.
