Town Manager Judy Frazier provided several departmental updates. She said a bid request is out for the 29 Main Street project; complaints have been received about winter plow damage and stones. The Beaver Pond picnic area gate opened April 1 and PHS students will clean the area on May 1 for Green-Up Day. The town received funding from MRP for park lights and ordered 'Deaf Child' signs to be placed on High Street.
Frazier also reported that the town received a final invoice for sludge removal and has submitted reimbursement requests for previously paid sludge-removal costs. A construction loan is in the final stage of approval. The town ordered three loads of salt (two for town use, one to reimburse the state). No vote on these items was recorded; they were presented as departmental reports.
