Town Manager Judy Frazier reported that upgrades to the wastewater treatment facility (WWTF) received state approval for the facility plan, finalizing the environmental review and allowing final design to proceed. She said a pre-bid meeting was set for May 13 and a bid opening for May 27.
Frazier said she met with Herb Johnson on April 28 to inspect Marble Bridge; Johnson indicated he would not undertake the job. She reported contacting Tedesco, the company that previously repaired the bridge, to review the project. She also met a contractor regarding the Proctor Place project; John Corliss for Rick Reed was the only company present at that meeting. A timber-harvest update was provided by the town forester with an approximate dollar amount to be supplied at the June 8 meeting.
