President Newnam announced a Special Election to fill Brian Schmidt's council seat on May 13, 2026; the filing deadline for candidacy is April 8 at 4:00 p.m. During public comment, Dan Deakins and John Farwell each announced their candidacies and summarized their qualifications for the upcoming special election.
Resident Talia Pablon told the council her water bill for February "is almost $800.00" and said she did not understand why the bill was so high.
