Engineers begin Signal Street survey; commission reviews Task Orders

Patrick Carabello of Brosz Engineering told the commission that surveying has begun for the Signal Street project and that the firm had received four quotes from geotechnical firms. Carabello presented Task Orders previously submitted to the city; he said the orders were unchanged except for effective dates and asked for direction on whether Tioga intends to move forward with any of the proposed street projects.
President Brett Rieniets said there had not yet been discussions with the Township board about moving forward on those projects. The commission did not vote to authorize work at the meeting; commissioners asked staff and the engineer to continue developing cost and schedule information before further action.
