Chair Jennifer Hoyt called the Salisbury Old Home Day Committee to order at 7:17 PM and led members through final logistics for this year’s Old Home Day. The committee approved the June 9, 2026 minutes and confirmed that vendor capacity is full; one vendor inquiry was declined. Members approved a signage plan that will use reusable signs without dates and a largest banner to be placed on Town Hall. The meeting adjourned at 7:52 PM.
Committee members outlined the event program and Friday night features: a car show, Lynnie’s Food Truck, lemonade, Richardson’s Ice Cream (Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip and Vanilla), and fireworks. Activities listed for the weekend include a climbing wall, balloon-twisting clown, Reptiles on the Move, a DJ (there will be no band this year), face painting and temporary tattoos, and a chicken dinner program administered by April. The group scheduled a wrap-up meeting for September 15, 2026.
