The Litchfield Housing Authority (LHA) convened a special meeting on June 2, 2026, called to order by Chairperson Sandra Becker at 4:01 P.M. Commissioner Michael Lyn Cappell moved to accept the minutes of the April 28, 2026 meeting as amended; Commissioner Kate Orr seconded and the motion passed with one commissioner recorded as abstaining.
Executive Director Jim Simoncelli Jr. presented financial reports for March and April 2026, including balances for operating accounts, the grant holding account, the pet security account and the STIF account. Commissioner Cappell moved to accept both monthly reports (March motion seconded by Jean Adams; April motion recorded as seconded by Francesca Kracht); both motions were recorded as passed. The agenda noted an executive-session item to review year-end bonuses, but the board did not go into executive session. The meeting adjourned at 4:50 P.M.
