Ogden City Council on July 14 approved final plans and accepted a low bid to build improvements at Howe City Park.
Council approved Resolution No. 202607-611 adopting plans, specifications, form of contract and opinion of cost for the Howe City Park Project and then accepted bids. Six bids were reported, led by Burkett Construction at $1,345,000; Concrete Construction bid $1,429,250 and Jensen Builders bid $1,782,000. The council voted to award the contract to Burkett Construction under Resolution No. 202607-612 (motion by Councilman Dave Ohlson, seconded by Councilman Aaron Crane).
