Members reviewed a set of policies slated for rescission or revision and agreed the agenda-format policy should be rescinded because MASC no longer includes that format. "That's why that one's being rescinded," the chair said, explaining the district has updated its agenda format multiple times and the policy is better handled as process rather than policy.
The committee instructed staff to add a clear redline label recommending rescission on the PDF so the full school committee receives both the proposed rescission and an opportunity to comment. Robin Ivy will update the PDFs to indicate items recommended for rescission and circulate the assignment list to reviewers with a requested return window of next Wednesday where possible.
