The Moab City Planning Commission completed internal leadership elections during the April 9 meeting. Commission Member Jill Tatton moved to elect Kya Marienfeld as Chair; Commission Member Shalee Bryant seconded the motion. The vote passed 3-0 with Marienfeld recusing herself from the vote. Later, Chair Marienfeld moved to elect Jill Tatton as Vice Chair; Bryant seconded, and the motion again passed 3-0 with Vice Chair Tatton recusing herself.
The elections were conducted by motion and recorded in the minutes. The results will be reflected in the commission’s roster and used for future agendas and procedural responsibilities. Conformance with bylaws and recusal practice was noted in the meeting minutes.
