At the March 24 meeting, Strategic Initiatives & Sustainability Director Alexi Lamm presented the administration budget request for fiscal year 2026–2027 and said the request reflects consolidated expenses for organization‑wide information technology (IT) and certain software. Community Development Director Cory Shurtleff presented requests covering community development, engineering, planning and building safety. Public Works Director Levi Jones presented the streets, parks, stormwater management and facilities requests.
City Manager Michael Black announced that upcoming budget‑workshop topics will include Recreation, Parks and Trails, the community contributions program and capital improvements. No fiscal decisions were made at the workshop; the presentation framed budget priorities and identified items staff will bring back for detailed review in subsequent sessions.
