Planning staff provided a series of short updates under "Staff Update/Other Business." Commissioners were informed that the Transportation Connectivity Plan and changes to the form‑based code were approved by City Council on Oct. 21, 2025. Staff also reported the City is coordinating with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) regarding a proposed bike lane on the east side of the city along 900 E and is investigating the feasibility of an additional pedestrian crossing at 700 East.
Other items noted included an APA conference debrief and routine planning department matters. No formal actions were taken on these updates during the Oct. 22 meeting; they were provided for commissioner awareness and future follow-up.
