The council approved a series of payments during the Nov. 13 meeting. Motions carried to pay $1,000 to the Sioux Rapids Fire Protection Agency for temporary City Hall office rent and $4,769.02 for the city's share of a tanker loan. The council also approved $2,448.60 to Community State Bank for the city's GO bond payment for City Hall and $11,020 to the Iowa Finance Authority for the water treatment plant project.
All payments were approved with unanimous votes recorded by City Clerk Amanda Caraway. The minutes do not attach further conditions or specify payment schedules beyond the amounts recorded in the claims list.
