The Steamboat Rock City Council opened a special session on March 25 at 6:30 PM and first approved the meeting agenda. Council member Cory Schurman moved to approve the agenda; Kevin Pieters seconded and the motion passed.
After taking votes on the proposed property tax levy and on scheduling a public hearing for the FY2027 budget, Council member Marvin Veld moved to adjourn at 6:45 PM; Cory Schurman seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Present were Mayor David Mull, Kevin Pieters, Marvin Veld and Cory Schurman (via phone); Marc Havens and Travis Hollander were absent.
