Planning & Zoning recommends Wright County rezone Uecker property to Ag-Res

Paul Otto, speaking on behalf of the Uecker project, summarized prior county review and a 2009 natural-resources overlay that influenced earlier plans. He told the commission, "The previously recommended plan was for 4 10 acre lots," and described the current request as "2 larger and 2 smaller lots in a PUD using the creek as a boundary."
Supervisor Nelson said the new proposal was "well thought out," and Chair Chris Klein said it appeared to fit the township ordinance’s requirements better than earlier versions. The commission moved and, by an 8-0 vote, recommended that Wright County rezone the parcel to Ag-Res. The recommendation is advisory; final zoning action rests with Wright County.
