Chief R. Colcord told the Board that engineers changed the incoming and outgoing PL tones for the Great Hill repeater and that the change appears to have stopped the interference previously experienced from the Henniker Highway Department. He added that several department radios still need reprogramming to match the new settings.
At the March 5 meeting it was reported that Ossipee Mountain Electronics has serviced the Great Hill repeater and recommended replacing several parts that are at or over their life expectancy. Chief Colcord directed them to obtain and install the recommended parts to reduce future failures.
