Recreation commission reports pool repairs, nine ball teams and a tournament

Latemier said, "Opening day at the pool was May 23rd; closing date will depend on staff availability." He also detailed needed repairs at the pool: the diving board, concession stand roof, railing boards, a replacement lifeguard stand and a working emergency button on the slide to stop the water. The commission noted pool prices have increased and that Rec has partnered with Wegs for homerun promotions.
No additional funding or schedule for the repairs was adopted at the meeting; the commission presented the status for council awareness and planning.
