Commission approves CUP transfer for parking at 7992 Dartmoor Road, requires dumpster relocation coordination

The Planning Commission approved a transfer of a conditional-use permit on July 23 to allow parking for a commercial establishment at 7992 Dartmoor Road and added conditions including coordination with the city to relocate the existing dumpster away from the street.

Property owner Anthony Takacs told the commission no changes to the parking are planned at this time and said improvements and submitted plans will come as tenants occupy the space. Commissioners expressed a preference to have a single, consolidated dumpster location away from the street; the owner said he preferred a rear location for easier truck access and described plans to work with his architect and the city when finalizing placement.

Administration noted two conditions were already listed and commissioners added a third requiring the existing dumpster be removed from the current visible location and relocated with city coordination. The motion to approve the transfer with three conditions passed on a roll-call vote.
