Seth Bovino, the planner representing an applicant earlier in the evening, spoke in favor of the plan but suggested more specific action language in the implementation sections (pages noted in his remarks) and proposed consideration of an R6 zone to allow smaller lots and more buildable opportunities on smaller parcels. The commission acknowledged public involvement throughout the process.
In the business meeting the commission moved and seconded adoption; the roll call vote was unanimous (7-0). Commissioners praised the committee and consultant team for thorough work. The adoption returns the POCD to the town's implementation phase; the commission discussed forming an implementation committee to oversee action items.
