Superintendent announces principal resignation, promotion; board schedules follow‑up

Bilodeau also reported a transfer recommendation: employee #5206 would move from assistant principal at Lauren Fleming Elementary School to principal at Gloucester Township Elementary School with a prorated salary of $120,000 per year and an effective date of Aug. 1, 2026. "This employee will be replacing employee 4239... the salary is $120,000 per annum. It'll be prorated. The effective date will be 08/01/2026," Bilodeau said.
Board members asked clarifying questions about notice periods and timing for replacement, and the superintendent said he expects a recommendation at the August 17 meeting and will work swiftly to ensure principal coverage before school starts. The items were added to the consent/resolution sections for board action.
