The borough engineer (S9) told the Planning Board that the apartment building across the street is expected to seek a temporary certificate of occupancy on Friday and residents are scheduled to move in over the weekend. He described this as a significant near-term change for that block.
On public-works work, the engineer summarized the Burrows Road milling and paving program, saying the borough has been running a multi-street road-rehab program each year and has been budgeting in the range of roughly $400,000 to $500,000 annually. He described how the crew sequences milling ahead of paving to avoid weather disruption and listed streets recently paved (Churchill, Buckingham and Hillcrest) and those scheduled next.
Board members asked how many tons of millings were being moved and the engineer provided a rough figure, and the board thanked him for the update.
