The amendment would allow the extra ARPA funds to be expended before year‑end.
Other consent items included approving surplus of low‑value conference center decor and an unusable donated piano, authorizing Parks & Recreation to purchase two vehicles (a Ford Bronco Sport not to exceed $31,000 and a Chevy Silverado not to exceed $47,000) using SPLOST funds, awarding $58,000 to Talbot Tennis for repaving an inline roller hockey rink (with a $29,000 donation from the Cherokee Hockey League), and amending the Motorola maintenance contract for a Vesta call‑handling upgrade (approx. $44,356.40) to support incoming ESInet integration.
