Miss Jones, planning staff, presented an administrative report on a Holly Springs annexation request for a 5.54‑acre parcel at 294 Old Pioneer Trail, noting the property adjoins Owen Preserve and will be rezoned from R‑40 to T&D to accommodate two single‑family homes. "This evening, we'll be looking at, another annexation from Holly Springs. This is PR Land Investments LLC," Jones said while walking commissioners through the site map and the pond and stormwater changes associated with the parcel.
Jones told the board the annexation will require city resubmittal of final site plans and additional fire and emergency services comments; the planning commission will hear the matter on Aug. 29 and the City of Holly Springs will take the final actions in early September. Commissioners asked for clarification about access and stormwater, and staff said they will provide follow‑up comments to the city.
