Commission approves 2026 meeting schedule, moves November/December dates

Planning secretary Jamie Davidson presented a housekeeping proposal to move the November and December 2026 meetings to the third week of each month because those meetings currently fall on major holidays. "Staff is recommending moving the meetings to the 3rd week but you guys can discuss amongst yourself," Davidson said. Commissioner Johnson moved to approve the 2026 meeting schedule and reschedule the regular November and December meetings to Nov. 18 and Dec. 16, 2026; the motion passed with seven affirmative votes.
The schedule change is administrative and will be posted on the city's calendar; staff said commissioners can suggest alternate weeks if needed.
