Council sets bid date for Junior Pioneer Park water-main project

City staff described a joint project with the Public Utilities Commission to provide water redundancy near Junior Pioneer Park, extending back toward Shell's Brewery. SEH Incorporated prepared the project plans and staff said the work would be funded with water-infrastructure funding.
"So it is our recommendation today to set the bid date for August 26 at 10AM," Stadheim said. Council voted to approve plans and specs, order advertisement for bids, and authorize staff to receive and open bids on Aug. 26, 2026; staff will bring bid information and a contract recommendation back at the first meeting in September.
