Egg Harbor Township superintendent honored as Atlantic County Superintendent of the Year; delivers annual report

In her superintendent's report, Dr. Gruccio said the district closed the 2025-26 school year with stepping-up ceremonies and an "amazing graduation ceremony" and that the district entered the 2026-27 fiscal/school year on July 1. She outlined ongoing work on professional learning communities, MTSS, curriculum review and several summer programs (ESY, Aspire, Free to Read), and highlighted career pathways including aviation, culinary and eSports opportunities.
The superintendent also noted local alumni success: she said alumnus Cameron Flucke was chosen 22nd in the Major League Baseball draft by the Detroit Tigers and the meeting record lists a signing reported as $3,800,000. The district said it will continue goal-setting work for the coming year and follow up through district and school-level planning.
