Board names Rupa chair and Chrislyn vice chair; slate to be sent to commission

Board members agreed that multiple trustees (Chrislyn, Rupa, Aaron, Amanda and Linda) will continue for a new term; several trustees are mid- or late-term and renewals were reviewed. "Chrislyn is vice chair," the presiding officer said; the board also discussed submitting the reappointment slate to the mayor's office and having it placed on the commission agenda (noted Aug. 11).
Rupa was announced to serve as chair. Trustees asked whether attendance at the commission meeting was required and were told the submissions are included on the county commission agenda and do not require board members to appear unless they choose to do so. The board will present the slate for commission reappointment as part of standard procedure.
