City Administrator Myers provided a multi-topic operations update at the April 23 meeting. She reported collecting food-truck permits for the prom, said Brightspeed notified staff of height clearance concerns that prevent immediate make-ready work and that staff had contacted KMEA to start coordination. Mid-Continental Restoration expects to begin pool repairs in a couple of weeks after weather-related delays.
Myers also announced city events and service dates: citywide rummage sales scheduled for April 25; bulk trash collection April 27–29 with ordered dumpsters; and the annual pet clinic on April 28 from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at the recycling center, with Regional Veterinary Service providing rabies vaccinations and city tags available on site.
