The Hogansville City Council unanimously approved the consent agenda at the Oct. 14 called meeting. Council Member Mandy Neese moved to approve the consent agenda, Council Member Mark Ayers seconded, and the motion carried 5-0. The consent items covered approval of the Regular Meeting agenda for Oct. 6, 2025; approval of Work Session minutes from Sept. 15, 2025; and approval of Public Hearings & Regular Meeting minutes from Sept. 15, 2025.
Mayor Jake Ayers called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. and Council Member Jason Baswell gave the invocation; Mayor Ayers led the Pledge of Allegiance. Present at the meeting were Mayor Ayers; Council Members Michael Taylor Jr., Jason Baswell, Mandy Neese, Mark Ayers and Kandis Strickland; City Manager Lisa Kelly; Assistant City Manager Oasis Nichols; City Attorney Alex Dixon; Police Chief Jeffrey Sheppard; and City Clerk LeAnn Lehigh.
