The City of Hogansville held a public hearing Oct. 6, 2025, to receive citizen comments on the proposed millage rate. Mayor Jake Ayers called the hearing to order at 10:00 a.m.; City Clerk LeAnn Lehigh recorded that there were no citizen comments, and Mayor Ayers closed the hearing at 10:01 a.m.
The hearing took place at Hogansville City Hall, 111 High Street. LeAnn Lehigh's minutes list Council Members Jason Baswell, Mark Ayers and Kandis Strickland as present and Council Members Michael Taylor Jr. and Mandy Neese as absent. City Manager Lisa E. Kelly and Assistant City Manager Oasis Nichols were also listed as present in the record.
No motions, votes or public testimony were recorded during the session. The public hearing was limited to citizen comment on the millage rate; with no comments received, the council took no formal action during the hearing and adjourned it at 10:01 a.m.
