Survey complete for Perry Park fire pond; board moves project toward preliminary design

Director Keith A. Worley reported that surveying for the district's proposed fire pond is complete and that the project will move into preliminary design. Worley said he will meet with the engineer in the field to review the design and then pursue conversations with potential funding partners.
Board members noted that once design work is complete, the District's registration with the 811 notification system will need to encompass the planned dry hydrant installation. District staff will pursue design and funding next steps and report back at a future meeting.
