At the start of the meeting Council President Riley Cross said he had spoken with Lance Greer regarding a lawsuit connected to Hometown Heroes and reported that Greer would not be accepting money from the civil case. Bev Ballog, representing Hometown Heroes, attended the meeting and thanked the borough for its support of the project and said she was pleased to hear Greer would not be accepting the funds.
