Union City Borough ratified on Oct. 7 the retroactive purchase of a 2021 CF Moto CForce 600 ATV with plow from Marvin Phillips for $5,000. Councilor Joyce moved the retroactive approval and Councilor Steadman seconded; the minutes record the motion as carried.
Wells said the ATV will be used to plow bridges and borough sidewalks, assist with park clean-up and trash collection. Leisure Time in Corry inspected the ATV and reported only normal wear items such as air filter and fluid changes would be needed; potential tire and wheel bearing work could come in a year. The minutes list the purchase price as $5,000.
