Superintendent Miss Giese (S3) explained the district previously discontinued the internal long-term sub position but is now reinstating it because three staff members are taking long-term leaves. She said the position has a different pay/benefit structure than teachers and that "luckily, the person had not accepted any other jobs and she's willing to come back into her current position." The motion passed by voice vote.
