Councilor urges agenda simplification; residents share community announcements
Summary

During council comments Cllr Deaderick suggested the council examine how other small towns structure agendas, recommending consolidation or removal of some committees to simplify the agenda. Cllr Jones thanked Mayor Scott, TM Gonzalez and "Frank" for their work on the budget and noted that the festival is about eight weeks away. In public comments resident Joyce Terry said people miss Holger recording meetings; Janice Strange invited the public to a church revival scheduled Sept. 19–22. Holger announced that the new building is complete and invited attendees to the rec room.
