Public works: paving pushed to late August; twice-weekly trash service runs through Sept. 4

The director also reminded residents of an e‑waste collection on Friday, July 24 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the borough public works site and said twice‑weekly trash service that started July 6 will run through September 4. Council thanked public works for the storm response and asked staff to notify residents once a tentative paving date is confirmed.
No firm paving start date was announced; the director said he will inform council when contractor dates are confirmed and will post updates on the borough website.
