Council denies continuance, admits narrowed set of exhibits after hearing objections

Petitioners’ counsel, Douglas Allison, said many documents had already been produced in related litigation and withdrew or narrowed several exhibit offers to reduce disputes. The tribunal voted to deny the continuance and then took votes on admitting groups of exhibits; some exhibits were admitted while others (including certain depositions and items the respondent objected to for hearsay or lack of foundation) were reserved for later ruling. The panel also allowed depositions to be used subject to the respondent’s right to renew objections when clips or cuts are offered in evidence.
