Residents and council urge rapid response to storm‑damaged, aging trees after property damage

Public works described the storm response—clearing downed trees and making streets safe—and said tree crews and contractors have been engaged. Council members asked staff to prepare a report and, where necessary, coordinate removal to reduce public‑safety risk. Residents requested clearer timelines and a follow-up inspection of identified properties.
