City Recorder Michelle Connor told the council that Idanha will host Cleanup Day this year. Councilor Eric Page reported on the city's water system and referenced a "new reservoir holding tank" under development. Councilor Michele Tesdal updated the council on the park plan and donations; Councilor Dean O'Donnell raised concern that scotch broom is spreading through Detroit and is "highly flammable." Councilor Denny Nielsen provided an update on the North Santiam Sewer Authority.
Several staff reports and portions of councilor updates were partially inaudible on the recording and are noted as such. Where the recording was muffled, the meeting minutes indicate the speaker but not full content. The council did not record an action approving emergency measures related to scotch broom on the record.
