City Manager Eric Underwood reviewed the business license application for The Donald Café, LLC, submitted by Joan and Darren Monen, and recommended approval pending the final certificate of occupancy. "Motion by Councilor Coffman, seconded by Councilor Wright, to approve the Business License Application for The Donald Café, LLC, with issuance to take place after the final certificate of occupancy is received," the minutes record; the motion passed 5-0-0.
Underwood also told the council the Oregon Liquor & Cannabis Commission requires that liquor remain on the premises. Councilor Abby Hungate moved and Councilor Michael Coffman seconded a recommendation in favor of the liquor license; the council voted 5-0-0 to recommend OLCC approval. No conditions beyond standard OLCC requirements were recorded.
