Residents ask council for memorial plaque at soccer fields; council plans added parking and ribbon cutting

Separately, Mayor Metzger led a discussion about electric bikes and scooters not obeying traffic laws; he said he will reach out to other mayors for examples of how they are handling the issue. Rosenberry had reported earlier that the 7th Street NW paving is complete and will open Friday morning, and the mayor invited attendees to a ribbon cutting after the meeting.
