CWSA showcases student experiences; district to review a contract next month

Jason (speaker 7) added that CWSA has connected students with community partners for job-shadowing experiences—examples included visits to a drone company, a college referee, robotics labs and health-care settings, and a live cooking demonstration tied to bakery visits.
Jimmy asked the board to consider placing the CWSA contract on next month's agenda to review and, potentially, sign it; he said the contract is due in June and he hoped the board could begin redlining and commenting. Board members asked procedural clarifying questions (for example, noting the open-enrollment deadline) and thanked the presenters for the update.
