Commissioners debated whether the $1,000 monthly base or the $200 call fee would cover true costs if call volumes are high; staff noted that, if callouts reach roughly 30 per year, the city would be near previous annual cost levels and would revisit terms. The commission approved the MOU with monthly reporting and authorized staff to execute the agreement with the agreed reporting cadence.
