On the road program, council approved a change order that reduces the contract by $110,107.13 and approved payment application #1 for $1,049,879.08 to James D. Morrissey Inc.; the borough manager (S3) said his recommendation is to pay from the general fund unencumbered balance. Council voted to approve the change order and payment unanimously.
Council also approved payment application #1 in the amount of $292,884.75 to G&B Construction for the Morrisville lot pavement and drainage project as recommended by the borough engineer. Leaders said retainage is being held until punch‑list items are complete on other projects.
