The Dolores County Board approved a three-year contract to move website, GIS and assessment services from Westfall to SIDwell, with commissioners saying the new vendor would build a new website and complete migration within roughly four to six weeks.
One commissioner, speaking about vendor performance, said, “They’re they’re really good. I don’t think we’ll have an issue.” County staff noted the contract includes a three-year term and cautioned that terminating after the first year could leave the county responsible for remaining payments in years two or three. A staff member summarized the termination provision: “We have the right to terminate it, but we have to pay for the remaining term.”
The board voted to approve the SIDwell contract for the assessment and related services. Commissioners discussed logistics of the transition (service outages since the 16th or 17th were mentioned) and confirmed the county expects customer-service continuity during migration. The motion carried on a voice vote; staff will continue implementation and monitor the vendor’s migration schedule.
