The City of Detroit Council convened its regular session on June 25, 2024, at 6:31 p.m. and quickly moved through procedural items. Councilor Eric Page moved to approve the agenda, Councilor Greg Sheppard seconded, and the motion carried "all in favor" with Councilor Tim Luke absent.
During the meeting the council received brief updates and announcements: Tim York, "from Septic," said he would deliver a written proposal by the end of the week, and Councilor Denny Nielsen reported that the city’s visioning project was wrapping up and that a digital reader board had been installed with finishing touches due the following day. The recorder announced upcoming regular meetings on July 9 and July 23, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. The council adjourned at 7:42 p.m.
