City Recorder Michelle Connor told councilors that Reagan Smith can supply two water bottle filling stations for the City Park at a cost of $3,000 for the units and would only charge a $500 installation fee.
"He will only charge us the installation fee of $500," Connor said when summarizing the vendor's offer. Councilor Todd Smith moved to purchase the fountains; Councilor Greg Sheppard seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The council did not attach special conditions to the purchase; staff will schedule installation and the units will be placed in the City Park.
