The O'Fallon Township High School District Board approved a contract with Millennium Construction to perform moisture mitigation for the high school cafeteria flooring in the amount of $58,794.40. Chair (S3) moved the measure and the board approved it by roll call.
Director (S4), who briefed the board earlier on summer projects, said the manufacturer’s moisture testing identified mitigation was required and that replacement materials had arrived, helping work remain "on schedule for that". "We have our fingers crossed specifically for that cafeteria flooring," S4 said, adding that crews will perform a few days of mitigation followed by flooring installation so the project is still expected to be completed by the start of school.
