Village completes budgeted drywells; Merritt Engineering advancing Creek water project

Street Superintendent Rick Reitz reported that two additional drywells were installed along Lake Shore Drive between Stops 38 and 39, completing the four drywells included in the 2024–2025 budget. Reitz also described routine maintenance work and improvements to building Wi‑Fi infrastructure.
Council member Mike Mumper and staff reported that Merritt Engineering is finalizing a Project Plan for the Creek water project; once federal approvals are received the bid process can begin. "The new pump will be installed later this month," the minutes record. Public Works will flush hydrants over the next couple of weeks to complete seasonal maintenance.
