The Winter Harbor selectmen on May 4 accepted the town’s Treasurer’s Report and Tax Collector’s Report and approved Warrants #50 (April 28, 2026) and #51 (May 1, 2026). The board recorded a Trio-General Ledger balance of $1,131,686.20 and listed investments and bonds with values around $2.87 million. The selectmen approved the financial items by recorded votes listed in the minutes.
The Treasurer’s Report dated May 1, 2026 shows a six-month certificate of deposit valued at $107,539.29 and investment accounts with market values listed at $2,872,650.00. The Tax Collector’s report recorded taxes receivable of $342,681.50 for fiscal year 2026 and $13,690.19 for fiscal year 2025. The board also approved Warrants #50 and #51, which together total $145,445.42 according to the minutes. The selectmen deferred a separate decision on renewing a CD until they can compare CD rates to a sweep-account option.
